ACCESS: American Jewish Committee’s New Generation Program aims to inspire and substantively involve outstanding young Jewish professionals in AJC’s important agenda through innovative programs, which provide insight into today’s complex cultural, political, and social challenges.

Through engagement in AJC’s areas of expertise— international relations, domestic policy, intergroup affairs, and contemporary Jewish life – ACCESS members have opportunities to learn from and build on the unique relationships AJC has established with leading domestic and international policy makers, opinion leaders and diplomats. ACCESS is impact-driven, complementing the work of AJC through grassroots activism and hands-on advocacy.  Key members of ACCESS also receive training on advocacy and effective dialogue, particularly as it relates to issues of concern to the global Jewish community.

Located in the nation’s political and diplomatic heart, ACCESS DC is known for its ambitious agenda in working with young diplomats, community leaders and thinkers. Some of its hallmark programs have included: the annual Young Diplomats’ Reception, issue-oriented meetings with diplomats representing various embassies, programs with other young ethnic and religious partners, and educational and training sessions that highlight some of AJC’s chief concerns. 

ACCESS DC members also interact with the general AJC Chapter by attending chapter programs and networking with seasoned AJC Board Members. National AJC helps set our agenda and provides guidance and publications on areas of interest.
